Regional Manager - National Accounts On-Premise

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Drive sales growth within the assigned territory by building and maintaining strong relationships with Beverage Buyers, Marketing, and Purchasing Teams at regional and HQ levels, as well as third-party clients and distributor partners. Ensure alignment with company goals, and provide effective follow-up to capitalize on key account opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and business objectives are advanced
  • Analysis & Business Development: Analyze account performance and sales trends, prepare and present business reviews for major accounts, and respond to RFPs with a consultative approach. Manage inventory and program compliance while exercising a high level of fiduciary duty in financial matters. Use data-driven insights to identify sales opportunities and develop strategies that support business growth
  • Wine Training and Education: Provide training to distributor partners and clients to enhance their knowledge and confidence in selling our products, which supports increased sales and visibility
  • Collaboration: Work with distributor partners, internal sales and brand teams, and national account team members to develop ideas and tools to drive success and advance business objectives while ensuring alignment of customer needs with company strategies
  • Administrative Excellence: Handle internal paperwork such as expenses, trackers, budget requests and reviews with precision, and meet all deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Beverage Alcohol industry
  • Proven success managing key National and Regional accounts at the HQ level, with at least 2 years of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key account buyers, distributor management, and account executives

  • Comprehensive knowledge of products, the wine industry, competitive markets, and customer needs
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Microsoft Office
  • Passion and knowledge of wine, wine regions, and the wine industry (CSW/WSET a plus)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is required
  • Must be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch daily
  • Must be able to travel, including overnight trips, up to 30% of the time
