We're seeking an experienced Director of sales and retail chain accounts to join our in-house sales and commercial team and help us continue to grow with our strategic customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
● Leads all aspects of depletion and revenue goals for key chain customers across all markets
● Plans and handles budgets and brand allocations for key chain accounts.
● Ensures quality of brand mix, inventory, size mix, & market pricing are set to drive growth and profitability
● Monitors sales & depletion metrics and performance. Handles the distributor to ensure targets are met across key chain customers
● Plans the program & pricing calendar in partnership with the distributor and key chain customers
● Responsible for communicating to all sales management personnel the sales goals of the organization to be established in a sales plan incorporating supplier objective.
● Will make monthly sales forecasts in the last week of each month for the following month to be communicated to AIKO Leadership for inclusion in the product call plans.
● Consistently present chain strategies, discussing chain issues, and give chain status updates at sales meetings, develop sales forecasts, and schedule timeline of product delivery.
Education:
● Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required, MBA Preferred
● Experience using Canva required.
● Experience using Microsoft Office Suite required.
● Experience using Asana or other project management tools required.
Professional Experience:
● 10+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing in wine, spirits and strategic chain customers
● Experience with grocery and convenience stores chains experience is a plus
Technical Experience:
● Extensive understanding of and experience leading distributor teams and operation elements
● Deep understanding of and delivery on consumer expectations within the state/market
● Able to maintain a flexible and adaptable mentality by continually evaluating, revising, and responding with agility to meet evolving business needs
● Strong interpersonal and people management skills to navigate complex relationships spanning broad geographies
● Well-developed finance and budget management skills
● Highly effective influencing & partnering skills
● Refined communication & presentation skills:
● Flexible approach/ability to handle change in direction
● Delivering AIKO Brands net income through management of portfolio mix
● Volume targets
● Financial return on investment on budgets (AIKO & Distributor)
● Overall revenue, margin, and growth
