Desert Door is looking for a driven, charismatic individual to champion our brand across Central Texas. As our Area Sales Manager based in Austin, you'll be the primary connection between our distributor partners and customers. Your mission? Maximize our footprint across on- and off-premise channels.
In this role, you'll bring our story to life—boosting brand awareness, nurturing lasting relationships, and executing creative marketing initiatives that drive sales. Reporting to the VP of the Central Region, you'll maintain professionalism and positivity as the frontline representative of Desert Door.
Responsibilities:
Brand Advocacy
- Act as the face and voice of Desert Door throughout Central Texas (Austin area).
- Share the captivating story of Texas Sotol and Desert Door’s commitment to sustainability with both industry professionals and consumers.
Account Engagement
- Develop and nurture relationships across key on- and off-premise accounts.
- Host impactful staff trainings, tastings, and activations to educate and excite both partners and their customers.
- Collaborate closely with the VP of the Central Region to identify strategic opportunities and execute tailored regional strategies.
Event Planning & Execution
- Coordinate and attend tastings, festivals, and trade events to elevate Desert Door’s visibility.
- Ensure all events align with our brand guidelines, leaving lasting impressions and measurable results.
Administration
- Keep detailed, organized records of account interactions, event outcomes, and market performance.
- Skillfully manage your budget to maximize impact while staying within allocated resources.
Job Requirements:
- Preferred Experience: 3+ years in alcohol sales, demonstrating passion, product knowledge, and industry enthusiasm.
- Organization Skills: Self-motivated and organized, able to thrive independently and collaboratively.
- Competencies: Driven by results, innovative thinking, strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Adaptability: Proven success in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
- Customer Relations: Exceptional at building and maintaining robust, authentic relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable and skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
