The heart and soul of the Glendalough brand live in the lush wilderness of Wicklow, Ireland. This deep love of nature and appreciation for the beauty and bounty of our environment is critical for a Glendalough Brand Ambassador.
This role is not a typical 9-to-5. This job is for someone who shares in Glendalough’s appreciation for the inspiring wonder of nature and its goal to share that with others. This is an opportunity to represent Glendalough’s premium portfolio of Irish craft spirits and be a critical part of its growth in the US market.
This position will be employed by Sidecar Drinks but will represent Mark Anthony Brands externally. Applicants must reside in the New York City, NY area to qualify.

- An Industry Expert: Is a walking encyclopedia on all things Whisk(e)y and Gin. An authentic expert and influencer amongst key bartenders, customers, media, and consumers alike.
- Skilled Communicator: An eloquent storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to capture the imagination of the audience with compelling narratives and education.
- Social Media Savvy: Is proficient in leveraging digital platforms to create and share engaging content, driving engagement with influencers and the end consumer.
- Relationship Builder: Be naturally well-connected with the cultural curiosity to want to build relationships and drive meaningful collaborations with key trade in your market and beyond
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Exhibit a creative and innovative mindset, mirroring Glendalough’s thoughtful and handcrafted distilling approach. Be enthusiastic about problem-solving and being resourceful with budgets.
AS THE GLENDALOUGH BRAND AMBASSADOR, YOU WILL…
- Meet program goals and KPIs, which include, but are not limited to, staff trainings, consumer education samplings, social media, high visibility opportunities, and distributor engagement
- Build rapport within the trade community by hosting events, staff trainings, and showing support of key on-premise accounts to ensure our brands stay top of mind
- Execute weekly reporting inclusive of expense reports, post-event recaps, and account audits
- Engage distributor partners to help drive velocity and volume for the brand
- Learn a lot. But also have a lot of fun. We work in drinks after all.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years proven experience within the spirits/hospitality industry
- Brand Ambassador and/or bartending experience is a plus!
- In-depth knowledge of the Whisk(e)y and Gin categories
- Significant experience working with digital and social networks
- Proven ability to independently balance multiple projects successfully while maintaining a team-player mentality
- Reliability, punctuality (no tolerance for “no call, no shows”).
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, especially evenings and weekends (approx. 30% travel required)
- Valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation
Applicants must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S. This job has some physical requirements, including carrying and lifting boxes, reaching overhead, bending down, and frequent standing and walking.
ANNUAL SALARY:
ANNUAL SALARY:
- $85,000 - $95,000 (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
- Additional compensation: $500 monthly stipend to cover miscellaneous job-related costs.
