Manage 3PL Partner:
● Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
● Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure alignment on objectives, performance metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs).
● Address any issues or concerns raised by the 3PL partner promptly and effectively.
● Work with 3PL partner and suppliers to optimize small parcel corrugated boxes to mitigate damages to orders in transit.
Inbound and Outbound Freight:
● Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inbound and outbound freight processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
● Define clear guidelines for packaging, labeling, loading, and unloading of products to optimize transportation and warehouse operations.
● Continuously review and update SOPs to incorporate best practices and improve operational effectiveness.
● Coordinate closely with co-packers to schedule inbound freight deliveries of raw materials and packaging supplies.
Monitor Inventory:
● Take full responsibility for monitoring inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations.
● Implement inventory management systems and tools to accurately track stock levels, replenishment needs, and inventory movements.
● Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies or potential issues proactively.
Distribution:
● Work closely with distribution partners to ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders.
● Provide clear instructions and documentation to distribution partners regarding order requirements, delivery schedules, and special handling instructions.
● Monitor PO status and shipment tracking to verify that deliveries arrive as expected and take proactive steps to address any discrepancies or delays.
Continuous Improvement:
● Identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function, such as streamlining workflows, reducing lead times, or optimizing inventory levels.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
● Regularly review performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of logistics operations and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
● 2+ years experience in logistics and ecommerce fulfillment
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
● Beverage experience preferred
