Position Overview
The Field Sales Manager for Off-Premise and Hotel Channels will play a critical role in driving brand growth and visibility in Metro New York. This full-time remote role involves building strategic relationships, executing commercial strategies, and growing distribution in Off-Premise accounts (independent retailers and chains) and hotel channels (luxury minibars, grab-and-go sections). Acting as a key brand ambassador, the Sales Manager will ensure Deko Cocktails is positioned as a premium, ultra-premium choice in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management, coupled with a passion for the spirits industry.

Key Responsibilities

Market Execution
• Develop and execute Deko Cocktails’ annual operating plan for the New York market, including distribution and volume targets and an activation calendar.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with account stakeholders in both Off-Premise and Hotel channels.
• Identify and act on opportunities to increase brand visibility, grow distribution, and drive sales performance.
• Ensure effective execution of Deko Cocktails’ strategic priorities, such as product placements, promotional activations, and account growth.

Brand Engagement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-priority accounts, leading brand presentations, trade education, and consumer activations.
• Execute impactful experiential programs, including sampling, events, and trade engagement to drive awareness and conversion.
• Train and educate account staff on Deko Cocktails’ unique features, benefits, and usage occasions.
• Cultivate trade advocates within hotels and Off-Premise accounts to champion the brand.

Distributor Collaboration

• Act as the main liaison between Deko Cocktails and distributor partners, ensuring alignment on goals and execution plans.
• Conduct regular “work with” sessions to support distributor sales teams and track performance at the account level.
• Manage the procurement and timely distribution of POS materials to accounts.

Administrative & Budget Management

• Strategically manage and track A&P and T&E budgets to meet growth targets while adhering to company guidelines.
• Provide detailed recaps and reports on sales activities, tracking KPIs, account progress, and distributor performance.
  • • Oversee inventory allocation, activation budgets, and execution of promotional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry, with a focus on Off-Premise and/or hospitality channels.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience conducting effective sales presentations and negotiations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Data-driven mindset with strong financial and business acumen.
• Flexibility to travel up to 20% and work evenings and weekends as required.
