Relationship management
We have listings in some incredible on trade venues in New York and we want to ensure that we keep them! Crucial to this is maintaining strong relationships with our partners and stockists through regular visits. This will involve (in communication with our distribution partner Union Beer Blueprint):
- Daytime visits/catch ups with stockists to make sure they are happy and have the support they need
- Evening visits to show face and get to know broader teams in a social and convivial environment
- Buy our drinks and entertain prospective clients in existing stockists
Advocacy & education
We have amazing award-winning liquids but we need to be able to talk about them to consumers and trade in a credible, informative and memorable way. You will help us:
- Devise and implement an educational platform for bartenders eg full portfolio tasting experience, botanical alchemy sessions with ingredients deep dive
- Support Union Beer Blueprint and trade customers with any specific activation needs
- Create sampling set up for shorter off trade-oriented events including POS & messaging
- Ride with DSD partner when approved
Drinks development & content creation
We need to constantly refresh and update our serve strategy to stay up to date with trends and make sure that we have delicious options for how to drink our drinks from simple at home serves all the way to innovative aspirational drinks that inspire the US’s best bartenders. You will create:
- A multi tiered (good/better/best) drinks strategy for our spirits
- Seasonal serves for key trading periods eg Halloween/Christmas
- Drinks styling for photo shoots
- Create drinks led video content for social media
New business
Whilst this is primarily an advocacy role we still expect this Brand Ambassador to bring in some new business whilst they are out on the street spreading the word. As such you will have a target for new listings to include
- Cocktail menu listings of our spirits
- Staff education in our bar/restaurant stockists
- Increasing PODS where applicable
Travel & Events
We know liquid on lips is crucial and are trying to get the word of Three Spirit out there as much as possible so we need help with events for both trade and consumers where we will offer tastings. This could include:
- Support our trade shows in US eg BCB, Tales, Vibe, Portland Cocktail Week
- Carry out sampling sessions in key US off trade partners, particularly around the NY metro area
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in selling to bars, restaurants and hotels
- 2-3 years experience as a bartender or beverage director in a top rated bar or restaurant
- Experience working with a brand
- Excellent relationship building communication and presentation skills.
