Our portfolio includes Santa Fe Spirits (Colkegan Single Malt, Wheeler’s Gin, Santa Fe Apple Brandy, Expedition Vodka, Santa Fe Atapino Liqueur) and Breuckelen Distilling (77 Whiskies and Glorious Gin).
Role
We are looking for a Market Manager to oversee development of our Santa Fe Spirits portfolio in Austin, Texas. This individual will lead the effort in achieving Santa Fe’s business and brand goals through activation and brand advocacy within existing and new on and off premise accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
Requirements:
- College degree
- 3+ years of beverage alcohol sales experience in Austin Market
- Track record of results
- Strong selling and communication skills, oral and written
- Availability and flexibility to workdays, nights, and weekends as needed to support the business
Strongly preferred requirements:
- Guiding distributor sales teams
- Chain management experience
- Market A & P budget development and management experience
- Brand ambassador leadership
To be successful in this role you will:
- Consistently meet sales and profitability targets
- See an average of 35 – 40 local accounts /week and expect regional travel 1 – 2 days /month
- Exceed planned KPIs related to displays, retail tastings, shelf resets, cocktail list placements and consumer happy hours
- Create and maintain lasting connections through existing and new account contacts
- Seamlessly integrate with the team
- Be driven to identify business opportunities and implement solutions
- Operate at a fast pace and have a competitive spirit
- Need a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue and depletion goals for assigned market territory, through account placements and velocity improvements at points of distribution
- Develop relationships with influential accounts, bars and bartenders to increase opportunities for the distributor sales teams
- Train, lead and support distributor team
- Implement brand programs and incentives
- Conduct consumer tastings at retail
- Managing sales budget
- In-account activation execution and planning
- Serve as brand spokesperson at key Brand and Cocktail events
- Social media input
- Ensure execution and compliance with all company policies & procedures
