This salary range is an average range for this position and will vary depending on location. Overview

As key member of Coastal-Pacific East Region Finance team, this role supports company market strategy, yield, distribution, pricing, and revenue management best practices; with primary focus on post-program analysis/recapping, locating new revenue opportunities and special projects, as assigned.

The ideal candidate for Sr. Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst will possess a strong analytical toolbox. Experience within a high-volume fast-paced working environment, excellent communication, follow thru, and attention to detail skills are crucial to success. They will build reporting, share insights from analytical tools, and make suggestions for improvement. Local market knowledge for each state in our region (FL/NY/KY/IN), preferred. As a lead analyst, they will also aid management in the training of new team members and continue the education of current ones. They should possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders to innovate beyond the status quo.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support company financial pillars and KPI/MPP goals through accurate and timely activation, communication, and analytics.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of all east region price programming measurement and evaluation (M&E), with emphasis on post-program analytics.
  • Regular targeted communication and commentary of relevant strategy needs, revenue opportunities, current/post-program efficiencies or inefficiencies with recommendations.
  • Presentation of key pricing programs with insights, learning and suggested action plan for collaboration to key stakeholders including senior leadership and supplier stakeholders.
  • Explore and provide insights on factors causing variations in goal attainment such as volume/price/mix (VPM)
  • Proactively monitor, research, and resolve issues related to inaccurate inventory costing, price, or support interference with profit goal attainment predictions.
  • Monitor appropriate pricing strategies by channel such as SRP targets including use of coupons, competitive benchmarks, brand, size, and margin indexing in alignment with supplier commercial teams and other key stakeholders.
  • Utilize SGWS wide array of tools and dashboards to derive insights. Inclusive but not limited to OneSource and internal dashboards such as VPM, Neilson, Aged Inventory, Deal ID, Price Simplification & QNM Analytics.
  • Create new reporting as necessary to fill report gaps in conjunction with necessary local business intelligence, national revenue management or ETP teams to drive automation, consistency, and efficiency in tools/processes.


Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist management by supporting and championing revenue management initiatives across team and cross-functional groups.
  • Participate in regular in-market account visits, surveying pricing pitfalls or opportunities and accessing ways to improve teams support activities.
  • Adhere to all state liquor regulations, local market, national company policies and compliance.
  • Leverage and share valuable learnings across states and CPWS regions.
  • Assist management in new hire training, ongoing development of team analysts and process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

    3-5 Years of Industry Experience, preferably in Finance, Business Intelligence and/or Commercial.

    Strong analytical skills; must be well-versed in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and One Source-Business Objects. Familiarity with SAP, SQL, Nielsen, and Tableau dashboards is a plus.

    Excellent attention to detail and communication skills with comfort in presenting and interpreting complex insights to an executive audience via Microsoft PowerPoint.

    Experience working with multiple stakeholders at a time and managing deadlines.

    Self-starter who able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

    Solution-Based contributor; experienced in fast-past working environment.

    Onsite position: Must live within driving distance to our offices in either Miramar-FL, Syosset-NY, Indianapolis-IN, or Louisville-KY.

    Ability to Travel up to 10%
