General Description:
The Market Manager at Sake ONO, which is based in the Dallas area, will enhance our brand visibility and drive sales growth. This position requires a dynamic individual who can develop and execute strategic initiatives while collaborating effectively with sales, brand, and field marketing teams. The Market Manager will focus on creating innovative programs that align with our overall brand strategies, aiming to strengthen our market presence and elevate Sake ONO as a leader in retail and on-premise channels. When these positions are rolled out, this position will report to the Senior Director of US Market and oversee the Key Account Specialist role.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, brand, and field marketing teams to create and execute impactful programs.
  • Align initiatives with overall brand strategies and business objectives.
Market Analysis and Insights:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing and sales strategies.
Program Development and Management:
  • Design and implement innovative marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Manage the execution of programs from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making adjustments as needed.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with sales, brand, and field marketing teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to drive alignment and support.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on program performance and market conditions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Team Oversight and Development:
  • Oversee the Key Account Specialist role.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the alcohol/beverage industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
