Sr. Director of Sales - East

In this role, you will
  • Manage and own distributor partner relationships including execution and managing KPI’s.
  • Lead and manage a small team of sales representatives across the East.
  • Manage teams’ day to day execution in accounts:  weekly calls, scorecards, tracking, distributor meetings.
  • Develop and execute distribution strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Able to manage effectively and remotely multiple wholesalers, across multiple geographic footprints.
  • Skilled at storytelling through PowerPoint and excel.
  • Liaison with marketing, operations and senior leadership.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new sales staff.
  • Promote budget management, and continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of marketplace dynamics, including chain, independents On & Off National and Regional Chain Accounts.
  • Manage T&E and tactical budgets. 
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of revenue growth management competencies and price optimization.  Maintain price structures for all brands.
  • Provide activity reports to supervisor, including list of objectives, accomplishments, competitive activity, special projects, and/or any specific needs. 
 
What you bring:
  • Seven or more years related experience in alcohol CPG with a focus on beer networks.
  • 5 years previous management and operations experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier preferred.
  • Key account experience across the East coast.
  • Demonstrated sales management abilities with proven success in delivering sales goals and objectives.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic working relationships with distributors and accounts.
  • Proven team leadership and people development skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, time management and presentation skills required.
  • Cross Functional Influencer with experience working with Sales, Key Accounts, Marketing, Operations, HR and Finance Teams.
  • Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle and current state driver's license.
  • Ability to travel 30%, near a major airport hub and East Coast based.

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $120,000 - $140,000 along with medical benefits. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
