Revolution Brewing, your favorite craft beer proudly brewed right here in the Midwest, is hiring Area Sales Reps to share the story of our brewery. As our front-line voice you'll work with our local distributor and retail partners to get our fresh beers into consumer fists. This may be through landing great spots for our displays, making sure our beer is pouring at your local bar or restaurant, or talking about our tasty beer at samplings or festivals in the future.
We're hiring for two territories:
1) south and southwestern suburbs in Chicago covering areas from Bolingbrook, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Lombard, Orland Park, and Aurora
2) northern suburbs in Chicago to cover the distribution areas that are central around the Des Plaines, Schaumburg areas and travels north across McHenry to Libertyville

You are required to live in the territory assigned and be able to travel around to the various distributor areas. Let us know in your cover letter where you've had success!
Established relationships with local bars, restaurants and stores in these areas will be key to creating awareness with these partners and our consumers. You’ll be in the market most days, safely seeing accounts to drop off merch, beer, or anything else letting accounts know about our flagship or fun, new beers. Planning your days will have you using VIP, our sales data system, to analyze sales opportunities to get Rev into the public's hands. Following up with your accounts and summing up your wins to the distributor will showcase those great communication skills we know you’ll have, too.
This role is a base of $50-55K plus quarterly bonuses up to about $3K + 10% annual bonus potential, for about an additional $15-17K in bonuses if sales goals are met. Why You'll Rock This Role:
- You'll have 3-5 years working for a beer wholesaler or supplier within the Illinois 3-tier market, with a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You'll be more than proficient pulling data to analyze in Excel to create your own sales plan that works with the quarterly bonus goals.
- A reliable car is a must, as you'll travel around all of northern IL or the southwest suburbs to different local markets.
- Able to adjust your schedule to work samplings and festivals (so sometimes Tuesday-Saturday or a 2pm-10pm day). Working nights and weekends is part of beer and you’ll need to adjust from your typical 9-5 hours.
- You'll already have experience successfully meeting sales goals, prioritizing independent tasks, and handling multiple projects.
- You have to be able to maneuver 35-pound cases, as well as maneuver and place full kegs, as part of the job.
