This is a great opportunity for someone who has retail and/or merchandising experience and enjoys being on the move. Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Regularly travel to meet with list of accounts in territory to determine possible and/or scheduled merchandising needs
- Places proper point of sale materials on merchandise items in-store
- Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandising Manager
- Constructs or assembles prefabricated display properties from wood, fabric, glass, paper, and plastic
- Report to management regarding inventory levels, marketing and sales trends, and customer feedback
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities in order to be successful in this role:
- Candidate must live within assigned territory as there will be frequent travel required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to lift and move product of up to 45lbs
- Knowledge of wine, merchandising standards, and retail operations
- Outgoing and motivated self-starter with strong communication skills
- Customer Service oriented
