Role Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The role is responsible for the central US region and the person must reside in Texas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and the cocktail industry. This role focuses on effective distributor management through a mix of fieldwork and administrative tasks. Key growth objectives include driving sales depletions, expanding the customer base, enhancing distributor product knowledge, and increasing consumer brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage distributor relationships to ensure alignment with sales goals and marketing strategies.
- Develop and execute plans to increase sales depletions and customer base in the central region.
- Conduct distributor training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Foster consumer brand awareness through events, tastings, and participation in industry activities.
- Collaborate with and supervise a brand ambassador to ensure consistent representation in the field.
- Engage with both On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts to promote Liquid Alchemist products.
- Operate and maintain a shared calendar to coordinate activities, events, and distributor programming.
- Analyze and utilize sales data to identify trends, adjust strategies, and create sales reports.
- Actively participate in the beverage-alcohol industry network and local cocktail community.
- Work closely with distributors on program development, pricing strategies, and purchase order management.
- Represent Liquid Alchemist at trade shows, distributor meetings, and key industry events.
- Utilize MS Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) for organization and communication.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in the beverage alcohol industry with a strong network and established credibility.
- 5+ years of sales experience, demonstrating consistent goal achievement.
- 3+ years of distributor management experience with a proven ability to drive results.
- Experience working with Southern Glazers is a plus
- Strong understanding of the non-alcoholic cocktail syrups category and their usage in cocktails.
- Must be based in Texas with in-depth knowledge of the Texas market.
- Experience working with distributor programming, pricing structures, and purchase order systems.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals within assigned territories.
- Experience engaging with both On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts.
- Active involvement in the beverage-alcohol industry network and cocktail community.
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with brand ambassadors.
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, events, and distributor relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Performance Metrics
- Achievement of sales goals.
- Execution and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Timely submission of sales reports.
- Utilization of VIP Karma for account visits, sales reports, & market analysis
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $80,000+
- Bonus Potential: Monthly and annual bonuses with total earnings up to 50% of base salary.
