Reporting to the Director of Sales, this is an opportunity to help build a brand from the ground up with a small, entrepreneurial team in a role that will grow with the company. As a nimble company in a dynamic landscape, these responsibilities are subject to change as the business needs evolve.

What You’ll Do:
  • Achieve Le Moné sales goals, measured in both 9L cases and net sales value by obtaining new points of distribution, and ensuring sell through by way of increased velocity from quality menus, programming, staff training and more
  • Execute sales and signature serve strategy in New York City to achieve sales goals through quality placements that help build the brand
  • Work to establish and leverage Le Moné as the “must have” offerings in the aperitif/low alcohol and spritz category 
  • Develop relationships in key Le Moné markets in the on and off premise to gain high-quality placements/points of distribution and ensure sell through (~90% On Premise/ 10% off premise, subject to change as dictated by business needs)
  • Work with Le Moné distributor field reps to execute on sales goals, communicate brand strategy & programming
  • Work with sales leadership to execute sales strategy, execute programming, and develop impactful brand messaging that will resonate in market
  • Collaborate with the Le Moné marketing team on programming, and consumer and trade focused initiatives
  • Use social media to promote your accounts and placements in line with brand guidelines
  • Plan and coordinate sales-oriented programming, events and tastings, both at accounts and festivals/markets
  • Develop a set of sales tools that will increase sell through at accounts, and help effectively communicate Le Moné messaging and cocktail strategy 
  • Additional sales responsibilities include but are not limited to: routine account support in the on- and off- premise, conducting tastings/demos, coordinating agency support, and scheduling/executing brand events with ambassadors for brand engagement.
  • Work collaboratively across company and departments to execute business objectives, sales strategies, and marketing strategies


What You Bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience in wine and spirits sales within the New York City market.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Existing account list and relationships within Manhattan/Brooklyn
  • Strong knowledge of the wine and spirits industry, including key players, market trends, and consumer preferences.
  • Energetic and self-motivated with a passion for wine and spirits.
  • Experience with cocktail recipe development
  • Personable, empathetic, outgoing, and loves to engage with people 
  • Works well under pressure, can adapt to different situations and feedback, and is able to juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Shows strong networking skills and ability to build and maintain relationships within accounts, communities and organizations 
  • A creative mindset to develop programming, promotions, cocktails, messaging and strategies
  • Basic understanding of social media tools including Instagram to promote your wins
  • A high level of autonomy and independence to plan your days and use your time effectively
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict internally and externally
  • Customer service focused, going above and beyond to support your accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Meticulous planning, organizational skills, and record-keeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive programs
  • Basic understanding of VIP and other industry-standard reporting tools
  • Must reside in New York City
  • Owning a car is a plus



This job is based in New York City and may occasionally require 5-10% travel to adjacent markets to further Le Moné initiatives. Working nights and weekends for festivals, markets, events, and tastings will be required at times.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Job duties often involve frequent standing and walking throughout the shift

Compensation: 
Salary Range: $75-$90k base and is eligible for discretionary bonus
