We are seeking a results-driven leader to support and drive our sales strategy across territories and strengthen our sales operations.

The Vice President of Inside Sales is a role responsible for driving the company’s sales and strategy, supporting the sales team, and ensuring smooth transitions in unmanned territories. This individual will serve as a key resource to all sales territories, act as a peer to senior sales leaders, and provide leadership and execution when needed.

Position Responsibilities:
Distributor & Partner Management:
  • Manage distributor relationships, assess execution performance, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish and measure both quantitative and qualitative targets across all brands, including distribution growth, displays, drink features, shelf placement, and account penetration.
  • Monitor inventory levels at distributor warehouses to ensure availability and alignment with market demand.
Territory Support & Leadership:
  • Provide leadership and operational support in unmanned or transitional territories, ensuring sales goals are met.
  • Conduct market visits and work closely with regional managers and distributors to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Support key account development, including chain and independent accounts across off-premise and on-premise channels.
Sales Team Development:
  • Mentor and guide sales team members to enhance performance and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead regular review meetings with distributors and sales teams, providing scorecards and tracking performance.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex sales issues, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support.
Chain Account Management:
  • Build and strengthen relationships with chain buyers, distributor Key Account Managers (KAMs), and category management teams.
  • Conduct chain planning meetings, manage deadlines for chain programs, and ensure flawless execution of promotional activities.
  • Utilize data tools (e.g., VIP, Nielsen) to identify opportunities and address challenges.
Pricing & Revenue Optimization:
  • Develop and maintain pricing structures for all brands across territories, ensuring alignment with revenue growth opportunities.
  • Evaluate distributor and retailer margins and optimize pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
On-Premise Development:
  • Drive brand visibility and distribution in high-impact venues, including bars, restaurants, casinos, and other on-premise accounts.
  • Identify and manage opportunities with multi-unit on-premise accounts.
Marketing & Activation Support:
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement programs, including samplings, events, and promotional activities tailored to specific markets.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, with 5+ years in a senior sales role, preferably in the beverage alcohol or spirits industry.
  • Strong track record in distributor and territory management, sales strategy, and key account development.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support territories and attend key industry events.
