Holistic Spirits Company is an early-stage new kind of spirits company marrying science and nature to develop new to world innovative products.  Founded by wellness entrepreneur Amy Holmwood, and long-time outspoken vegan activist and celebrity Woody Harrelson, this is a highly dynamic company that is breaking barriers to create a better way for consumers to imbibe.

We are looking for a strong sales leader as the company continues to roll out.  This critical role involves both strategic route to market guidance and tactical execution.

  • A sales executive from the Spirits industry with experience building relationships with and managing distributors and accounts, specifically in the state of California.
  • An important member of the management team, this leader will help define the sales strategy, and sales organization
 
Job Description

  • Lead the sales efforts for the company, but also focus heavily on developing the business in California
  • Develop and finalize distributor partnerships in key launch markets
  •  Develop and execute sales, pricing and distribution strategy and plan
  • Actively contribute to landing new accounts in California and fostering relationships with key ones over time (in the market 3-4 days/week)
  • Lead sales function volume forecasting process
  • Collaborate in managing company, distributor, retailer inventories
  • Partner with distributors to achieve sales and distribution goals
  • Interface with distributor staff and the trade to educate them on our brands and maximize share of mind
  • Ensure all sales activities are compliant with national and local regulations
  • Accountable for setting and managing sales operational expenses
  • Assist in setting all key sales and distribution related KPIs.  Track and report monthly
 
Experience & Skills

  • A leader comfortable and energized by operating in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced early-stage company environment
  • Being able to operate in an autonomous fashion with minimal supervision when necessary
  • Proactive and aggressive disposition, constantly looking for new business building opportunities 
  • Off-premise experience and relationships is mandatory, but role also covers the on-premise
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, written and interpersonal communication skills
 
Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • History of leading growth of spirits brands with at least 10 years sales experience
  • Track record of successfully collaborating with and influencing all levels of distributor personnel
  • Travel availability of 30-50%
  • Must be based in California and preferably Southern California
