Position Details
- Role: Key Account Manager (West)
- Territory: Western region, including CA, AK, AZ, HI, NM, NV, OR, MT, ID, UT, WA, and WY
- Location: Remote (preferred home base in SoCal, NorCal, or Seattle; travel required up to 6 days per month)
- Reports To: VP of National Accounts
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to secure placements at chain, off and on-premise accounts within the Western region
- Build strong relationships with buyers and distributors to drive sales growth and market share
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales, marketing, and promotional efforts
- Maintain and monitor performance against annual business plans, providing regular updates and insights
- Lead engagement on key programming initiatives, assortment meetings, and distributor plans
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of professional alcohol beverage sales experience
- Established relationships with National and Regional chain buyers
- Proficient in VIP and syndicated data tools like IRI and Nielsen
- Prior experience in both on- and off-premise alcohol sales
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a self-starter attitude
