Position Details
  • Role: Key Account Manager (West)
  • Territory: Western region, including CA, AK, AZ, HI, NM, NV, OR, MT, ID, UT, WA, and WY
  • Location: Remote (preferred home base in SoCal, NorCal, or Seattle; travel required up to 6 days per month)
  • Reports To: VP of National Accounts

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to secure placements at chain, off and on-premise accounts within the Western region
  • Build strong relationships with buyers and distributors to drive sales growth and market share
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales, marketing, and promotional efforts
  • Maintain and monitor performance against annual business plans, providing regular updates and insights
  • Lead engagement on key programming initiatives, assortment meetings, and distributor plans
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional alcohol beverage sales experience
  • Established relationships with National and Regional chain buyers
  • Proficient in VIP and syndicated data tools like IRI and Nielsen
  • Prior experience in both on- and off-premise alcohol sales
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a self-starter attitude
