Job Description Overview:

We are looking for a self-starter who can make the NYC market their own. As one of the first employees and a strategic key hire of Dirty Water, you will be working alongside myself and a team of trusted advisors composed of industry veterans to help build the brand and penetrate the NYC market. This is a high growth potential role - You should be a person that can wear many hats and most importantly is scrappy and likes to scale new alcohol brands. The primary task will be to manage and grow the on-premise presence of Dirty Water Hard Seltzer with tastemaker accounts around the New York City metro. There will be off-premise sales as well, but the mix will be 80/20 in favor of on-premise.

Secondary duties will be to strategize distributor relationships, and to manage a sales team - these all will come later down the line.

Location: Manhattan/Brooklyn, NY (must reside in or near). Having a car is a plus.

Experience and Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years in sales leadership roles within the alcoholic beverage industry, preferably experience with new and emerging brands, specifically in the RTD space.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing on-premise accounts in NYC.
  • Deep understanding of the beverage alcohol market, including trends, category dynamics, and regulations.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends).
  • Comfortable working in a startup or growth-stage environment with limited structure.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact activities to drive revenue and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • On-Premise:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive on-premise GTM sales strategy to target bars, restaurants, nightclubs, non-traditional revenue outlets and other venues.
  • Identify and establish relationships with high-priority accounts, and their decision makers to build brand presence.
  • Drive product placement in high-traffic locations to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Ensure exceptional service levels for on-premise accounts to drive customer loyalty and repeat orders.
  • Merchandise and drive consumer awareness by implementing and deploying POS material to drive impressions.
  • Utilize Dirty Water social platforms to amplify consumer awareness.

  • Distributor: 
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with distributors to ensure alignment on sales goals, priorities, and market opportunities.
  • Train distributor teams on your product portfolio, brand story, and key selling points to maximize enthusiasm and engagement.
  • Set clear, measurable sales goals with distributors and regularly review performance against these targets.
  • Leverage distributor networks to identify and enter new on-premise markets or regions.
  • Participate in all monthly and quarterly distributor engagement meetings.
