Key Responsibilities
NetSuite System Management:
- System Maintenance:
- Oversee the daily operation of the NetSuite application and related third-party tools for internal stakeholders.
- Develop, test, and deploy customizations, objects, and third-party applications, adapting to evolving business requirements.
- Expertise and Troubleshooting:
- Act as the go-to expert for NetSuite, managing updates, diagnosing system errors, and ensuring functionality.
- Stay current with NetSuite features, customizations, and integration techniques.
- EDI Handling:
- Configure and manage EDI transactions, ensuring accurate setup and resolution of issues across transaction types.
- Integration Oversight:
- Manage and support integrations with external systems including Shopify, SPS Commerce, WMS, and JP Morgan.
Business Collaboration:
- Support and Enhancement:
- Address internal support requests such as new searches, reports, KPIs, and dashboards, and manage user roles.
- Support data analysis, business process mapping, reporting, and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system customizations, workflows, and business processes, ensuring they are current and accessible.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
· Operations and Industry Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience managing supply chain, purchasing, sales operations, and wholesale trading partners
- Substantial experience in retail and manufacturing, particularly in the food and beverage sector.
- Knowledge of lot-numbered inventory and supply chain management with outsourced manufacturing.
- Familiarity with wholesale business practices, especially in dealing with large retailers and compliance issues to avoid chargebacks.
- Financial understanding to support cash management processes.
- NetSuite Proficiency:
- 3-5 years of experience in ERP administration, particularly with NetSuite, including configuration and third-party integration.
- Familiarity with NetSuite Financials is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Experience with scripting and web services is advantageous.
- Administrative Knowledge:
- Proficient in managing custom records, CSV imports, workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards within NetSuite.
- Understand roles and permissions management.
- Additional Skills:
- Extensive experience with end-to-end EDI transactions, including setup, testing, and troubleshooting (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, 943, 944, 945).
- Broad exposure to finance, accounting, CRM, and other business domains.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and resolve problems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, and handle multiple projects accurately.
- Experience with project management, system implementation, and integration.
- Knowledge of wholesale and e-commerce processes.
- Professionalism under pressure, with the ability to adapt and remain flexible.
- Deep understanding of business processes and requirements.
- Self-sufficient with minimal guidance; effective in team collaborations.
- Strong communication skills, able to interact at all organizational levels.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in a relevant field or NetSuite Certified Administrator.
- 5-8 years of Operations and ERP experience, including wholesale, retail in the consumer products sector as well as systems management and reporting optimization.
- Proven track record in managing integrations with systems like NetSuite, Shopify, SPS Commerce, 3PL WMS, and JP Morgan.
