Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing digital assets, and overseeing e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels. They ensure all marketing efforts align with the national brand plan while maintaining a strong digital presence that reflects the brand’s vision, values and personality. The position serves as a critical link between Castle & Key Distillery's homeplace operations and the broader marketing team.
Essential Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management

Develop and implement social media strategies for both the brand and homeplace, ensuring consistency with overall marketing objectives. - Create and curate engaging, high-quality content that resonates with target audiences and elevates the brand’s presence.
- Monitor social media channels to identify and leverage trends and opportunities.
- Track and analyze social media performance, applying insights to optimize strategies and content.
- Manage the agency responsible for social media execution and ensure alignment with brand goals.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

Partner with the homeplace (hospitality) team to grow the e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses, including online storefronts and digital campaigns. - Apply analytics to improve social media performance, search engine optimization (SEO), and overall digital marketing efforts.
- Maintain and continuously improve the brand website, ensuring it reflects the brand story and provides a seamless user experience.
Content & Asset Management

Inventory and manage all digital assets, including images, bottle shots and other marketing collateral for use in social media and campaigns. - Align program calendars with the national marketing plan to ensure consistency and integration.
Collaboration & Liaison

Act as the primary liaison between homeplace operations and the marketing team, ensuring alignment and effective communication. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster great relationships and ensure marketing efforts deliver results.
Other Duties as Assigned

Provide support for additional marketing initiatives and projects that drive brand success.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Experience managing e-commerce or DTC channels.
- Proficiency in website management, including basic SEO knowledge and CMS tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with strong writing and communication abilities.
