We’re looking to fulfill 3 remote field sales roles with a base locations in New York City, Jacksonville or Tampa and Dallas or Houston.

Primary Duty:  The primary responsibility of the Market Manager is to enhance sales velocity within key accounts identified by the Director of Sales by growing top-line sales, expanding points of distribution, and activating the portfolio for success. This includes driving growth and brand awareness through regular engagement, account visits, training sessions, and educational initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key distributors and retail partners in the area, implementing key company initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing companies’ objectives, policies, and procedures with distributor partners. 
  • Ensure that brand identities are clearly understood by distributors and retailers.
  • Provide distributor salespeople with tools and knowledge necessary to successfully execute brand strategies and sales priorities.
  • Ensure distributor partners and account stakeholders are trained in all products.
  • Ensure proper use of available point of sale items throughout your territory.
  • Assume 75% of time calling on accounts selling our portfolio.
  • Sell in and conduct training programs with retailers, restaurateurs, and consumers. This can vary from 2-4 trainings/tastings/samplings per week.
  • Conduct regular distributor market work-withs and establish yourself as the point of contact.
  • Participate in sales blitzes, GSMs, and events.
  • Conduct analysis on top performing accounts and develop plans on how to grow share in the market and use VIP to monitor account performance.
  • Use data systems to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales, incremental volume increases, and other business insights.
  • Consistently utilize internal tools to grow share of mind in accounts such as digital assets, graphics, and POS.
  • Ensure weekly and monthly recaps of the business are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure T&E and activation budgets are carefully utilized and within budget parameters.

Key Requirements and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or may substitute equivalent years’ work-related experience for educational requirements.
  • A minimum of 3-5 plus years work related experience in beverage alcohol industry.
  • Experience in on- and off-premise direct sales and distributor management.
  • Clear understanding of channel management and pricing.
  • Analytical skills, in particular gathering data from VIP presenting it in formats suitable for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated record of success in delivering sales KPI’s and implementing key initiatives.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace ,Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment, often under tight deadlines.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to drive/travel through the designated market area.
