Exciting opportunity to spearhead marketing for a unique ready-to-drink Mezcal cocktail brand (the only of its kind!) and work hand-in-hand with the founders and highly experienced advisors to bring the brand to life.
With a bold, yet approachable taste that’s distinctly Mezcal, Elenita is a canned cocktail with real substance. Crafted from artisanal Mezcal distilled in Oaxaca, natural flavors & juices and sparkling water, Elenita is a departure from the expected – it’s an awakening to something that delights the senses, inspires curiosity and encourages you to deepen your discovery.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales, revenue, profit and brand growth objectives. The Marketing Manager will oversee the creative, brand building, and marketing aspects of the business with the goal of educating the consumers on the product, building brand equity, creating a consistent and compelling message, identifying marketing opportunities, and working with the team to translate these activities into sales growth.
●       Develops and manages marketing operating budget
●       Plans and oversees marketing and promotion activities including events, demoing programs, point of sale material development, experiential campaigns, sourcing and developing brand partnerships, influencer/ambassador programs, and digital campaigns
●       Oversees social media and content strategy, including creative direction, approving social media calendar, and running accounts
●       Contributes on an ongoing basis to the development of the brand strategy
●       Basic copywriting for website, social media, point of sale marketing materials, blogs and flyers
●       Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to achieve marketing objectives
●       Builds strategic relationships with key agencies and vendors
●       Keep a pulse on market trends, consumer markets, and competitors to recognize challenges and opportunities
●       Bachelor’s degree is required
●       Minimum of 2-4 years consumer products/lifestyle marketing experience required; Marketing experience within the beverage industry and at a startup strongly preferred
●       Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to create value in a startup environment 
●       Demonstrated success in leading brand development and accelerated growth of volume
●       Exceptional skills in Marketing leadership and brand strategic thinking 
●       Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills 
●       Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
●       Social media savvy and up to date on the latest demographic trends
●       Strong creativity and demonstrated ability to come up with unique and cost-effective marketing campaign ideas
●       Strong personal drive; advanced influencing skills 
●       Ability to work exceptionally well in a team environment
