Title: Wine Sales Specialist

Division: Blueprint Brands - Craft Boston

Supervisor: Blueprint Assistant Sales Manager

Objective:

This position plays a critical role in the direction of the Blueprint Brands Wine portfolio. This person is responsible for driving profitable performance through the wine portfolio by developing key accounts and creating confidence in selling wine across the Blueprint and Craft Boston Sales teams. This candidate must be comfortable executing effectively in all retail outlets and establishing an effective sales strategy for the broader teams. This person will grow into a consultative role in new brand recruitment and brand relationship management with the Blueprint Brand Manager and the Corporate Wine Manager.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Sales
  • Responsible for growing current key accounts and developing future key accounts
  • Supporting the general sales teams in effectively driving top performing products and brands
  • Broaden relationships with top accounts
  • Responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable growth of the wine portfolio


Portfolio Management:
  • Successfully liaise with Blueprint Sales team and Craft Boston Sales team to drive internal & supplier initiatives
  • Coach and educate general Blueprint and Craft Boston Beer sales team on the wine portfolio
  • Collaborate and implement with management on creative marketing strategies
  • Execute all new brands' launches within portfolio
  • Consult with Brand Manager and Corporate Wine Manager through the new supplier recruitment process


Product Management:
  • Assist in maintaining optimal levels for all products within portfolio, including a keen eye on seasonal increases and declines
  • Communicate new product/vintage releases and limited inventory arrivals


General:
  • Identify sales opportunities for all brands
  • Assist in the selling of the entire Blueprint Brands Wine portfolio
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of territory and market conditions
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree
  • Minimum 2 years wine wholesale or retail experience
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Expertise of legal requirements regarding the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages in MA
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical aptitude
  • Highly competent in word processing, spreadsheet manipulation (Sheets & Excel)
  • Comfortable creating and presenting, using Microsoft PowerPoint, in high pressure settings
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong level of comfort with all forms of technology
