Fast-growing plastic-free personal care company seeking operations manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify website operations, supply chain and demand planning, shipping and warehouse operations. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who is adept at using technology to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs

Main Responsibilities  

    • E-commerce Platform Management:Oversee the functionality and performance of the company's Shopify website to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
    • Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to monitor website performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
  • Supply Chain & Demand Planning

    • Forecasting: Develop and implement demand forecasting models to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet customer demand.
    • Procurement: Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
    • Inventory Optimization: Maintain optimal stock levels, reducing excess inventory and stockouts.
  • Warehouse Operations & Collaboration with 3PLs

    • Warehouse Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
    • 3PL Collaboration: Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of products.
    • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Shipping Cost Enhancement: Implement strategies to optimize logistics and reduce shipping costs
  • Customer Service Oversight

    • Issue Resolution: Work closely with the customer service team to resolve operational issues impacting customer satisfaction.
    • Feedback Mechanisms: Implement systems to gather and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Service Standards: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
