    Position Summary

In today's world, our markets are increasingly more fragmented, and our consumers more demanding. At Pernod-Ricard, we are transforming our Marketing to collectively improve our operational effectiveness, while we engage our consumers more deeply with the development of quicker and more impactful innovation, the activation of sharper digital plans, and the creation of breakthrough and award-winning brand and product storytelling. The latter especially requires a strong consumer centric approach, with a deeper knowledge of local consumer insights and cultural trends, so that our communication initiatives can resonate more deeply.

For this reason, Pernod-Ricard has created two new Brand Company functions, located in "Drive Markets" (markets representative of a strategic consumer archetype for the brand), to ensure the development of exceptional brand and product communications:

  • Creative Content Directors (CCD): Responsible for campaign creation and content development
  • Market Activation Managers (MAM): Responsible for market coordination and advocacy

  • The Senior Manager of Creative Content will support both the CCD and MAM as they develop unified media-to-shelf campaigns for Jameson within the United States (Drive Market) and Canada (Feeder Market).

Jameson is the second largest brand in Pernod Ricard in terms of contributive margin and has consistently been the one of the Group's best performing brands. In 2019 Jameson became an 'Impact Top 10 Spirit Brand' and is currently the 4th largest whiskey brand by volume in the world - third only to Johnnie Walker, Jack Daniels and Jim Beam. Our ambition is to sell and 15m cases by 2030 and to be regarded as a global premium passion brand by being the disruptive '3rd way' in whiskey.
