The Role
As a Tennessee Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Spirited Hive, building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers across the state. You'll be a dynamic brand ambassador, educating others about our products and fostering a loyal following for our vibrant brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Increase Spirited Hive product sales by proactively seeking out new accounts, maintaining existing customer relationships, and upselling new products.
- Build Relationships: Establish and nurture strong partnerships with distributors and retail accounts across Tennessee.
- Educate and Promote: Conduct staff and customer education sessions, highlighting the unique qualities and flavors of our cocktails.
- Increase Brand Presence: Boost Spirited Hive's visibility through strategic account calls, pricing, shelf management, merchandising, display activity, promotions, and a commitment to product quality.
- Market Expertise: Travel extensively within assigned territories, maintaining a deep understanding of the Tennessee beverage market.
Ideal Candidate
- Relationship Builder: You have outstanding relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Sales Planning: Establish an action plan prior to visiting market, utilizing distribution partner’s sales reps, VIP information and appropriate collateral/sales materials.
- Sales-Driven: You are a self-starter with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Distributor Management: Manage distributor partner activity, including, but not limited to, inventory management and forecasting, program development and implementation, monthly and quarterly sales meetings, and promotional calendar development and execution.
- Reporting: Complete and submit weekly and monthly market visit recaps and reports, quarterly goals and expense reports.
- Passion for Canned Cocktails: You love the world of spirits and are excited about the growth of premium canned cocktails.
- Tennessee Knowledge: Familiarity with the Tennessee alcohol beverage market, calling on retailers is a must, distributor experience a plus.
- Time Management: You're able to manage your time effectively, with approximately 80% of your time spent in the marketplace.
