The Marketing Acceleration function is a Center of Excellence responsible for driving superior capabilities
and effectiveness at the intersection of media, content, data and technology. The Marketing Acceleration function embeds best practices to drive quality, consistency, effectiveness and efficiency to Marketing and Sales to achieve flawless execution from media to shelf. The Manager, Consumer Data Strategy and Marketing Technology sits within the Data and Technology vertical of Marketing Acceleration function and their primary focus is to enable effective adoption of consumer data strategy and marketing technology, in partnership with our agencies and PRUSA Marketing. A significant focus will be on building capabilities to increase conversion and accelerate growth.
Nature & Scope
The role reports to the Director, Consumer Data Strategy and Marketing Technology, and works with the Media team, the CRM team and the VP, Marketing Enablement to drive the quality of output, standard of excellence and required process, to succeed in building data, audience and technology capabilities across PRUSA. The role will focus on improving marketing efficiency, engagement and ROI, enabling the continuous improvement of return from our marketing investments, without sacrificing innovation or creativity.
The Manager will establish best practice ways of working with the U.S. Marketing department and global brand companies with the overall goal of marketing the right product, at the right time, in the right demand space, and continuously improving our marketing capabilities and investment. This role will lead flawless development, execution and optimization of marketing's goals. The Manager will be fluent in cross-functional collaboration and matrixed workflow, partnering across Marketing Acceleration with the Media Team, the in-house content agency, and Operations, as well as outside Marketing Acceleration with Marketing, Commerce & Analytics. This role is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about the nexus of technology, data, and brand strategy.
The role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)Experience / Background:
6+ Years of experience at a matrixed organization in a technical marketing role that may include consumer data strategy, marketing research, analytics, ecommerce, performance media, or audience strategyFamiliarity with building audience & data strategy; inclusive of integrating 1P, 2P and 3P data into a broader data and consumer activation strategyFamiliarity with large media platforms (Facebook, Google, Snap, Twitter) and marketing technology partners (Adobe, Google, Liveramp)Familiarity with Dynamic Creative Optimization and Personalization at scaleFamiliarity with advanced analytics and segmentation methodologiesAble to build and maintain strong effective relationships with both internal and external partners and experience collaborating across a matrixed organizationStrong presentation skills with the ability to distill down what is most important/relevantStrategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and best practicesStrong leader who can demonstrate problem solving skills, agility and who is willing to take risks and challenge the status quo
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Data Strategy, Operations and Compliance:Lead and align cross function constituents in consumer data strategy, data driven audience strategy and identity resolution approachCreate and socialize playbooks on data and audience strategyCollaborate with IT on consumer data capture and storage strategiesAlign with all teams involved in consumer data touch points to identify potential data capture opportunities and defineLead governance and operations for portfolio of partners and toolsLead RFI process for data providersMonitor data quality within marketing technology products
Marketing Technology Strategy and OperationsOperate marketing technology products as data subject matter expertWork with Operations to train and support marketing staff on using marketing technology products.Work with Operations to perform checks on tool usage and user access to improve adoption rates
