Across spirit and wine categories, e-Commerce is disrupting incumbent businesses as consumers seek lower friction, greater personalization and superior value from shopping experiences. Pernod Ricard NA and CORBY are looking to drive that transformation in the wine and spirits category. As a digital specialist with ecommerce experience , your role is to help deploy our robust Ecommerce platform and help deploy solutions that will enhance the eCommerce Solutions of our Trading Partners.


Help implementing Direct To Consumer (DTC) Ecommerce Solutions

  • Support Corby and Pernod Ricard on the development of the Shopify e-commerce platform for Brand Homes and consumer merchandise
  • Lead cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business (Portfolio, Supply Chain, Marketing etc.)
  • Understand and support all technologies used at Pernod Ricard for ecommerce and web development, including CSS, HTM, and knowledge of API's and webhooks.
  • Establish opportunities for new consumer journeys based on commercial transactions to support Ecommerce Sales ambitions

  • Assist in implementing Indirect Ecommerce Strategies

  • Work with legal team to understand the legalities and requirements of selling online within highly regulated markets for wines and spirits
  • Understand the digital path-to-purchase and identify opportunities to intercept or enhance it...
  • Assist in implementing Corby technology (e.g. WeCommerce, API) to increase collaboration with our Trading Partners.
  • Proactively identify new channels and areas of opportunity to expand e-commerce sales and digital conversion tools
  • Participate to cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business (Portfolio, Supply Chain, Marketing etc.)
  • Implement & track relevant KPIs to measure actuals vs. Ecommerce targets.

  • Collaboration with other key stakeholders

  • Work with Brand teams, agencies, & customers technical teams to improve web store experience
  • Collaborate with other brand owners and PR affiliates to determine best practices and strategies
  • Collaborate with rest of IT Teams including the HQ located in Paris, and Marketing Agencies to ensure up-to-date infrastructure
  • Promote re-use of best solutions across North America where possible

  • Reporting

  • Compute KPI's on e-comm performances, visitors, origins, patterns, CTR, Conversions, LTV, abandoned carts...etc.
  • Google Analytics & trend reporting
  • Ensure effective collaboration with manger and S&M IT Directors on relevant initiatives, issues and risks.

  • Knowledge/Experience :

  • Experience with e-Commerce platforms such as Magento, BigCommerce or Shopify, e-Commerce sales reporting tools, product information management and eCRM & marketing automation tools such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud - A MUST
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools including Google Analytics, PowerBi, Datorama or similar - A MUST
  • Understanding of FMCG digital path-to-purchase tools and channels such as iBotta, Google Shopping, or Amazon
  • E-commerce store management & development
  • Ability to work in a cross collaborative team with IT, digital marketing experts and the business
  • Ability to work independently to reach common goals
  • Ability to critique and advise internal and external functions ( developers, agencies, vendors, etc.)
  • Digital Marketing experience & best practices
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO), PPC, CMS, Social Media, Email marketing
  • Ideally use of Adobe Photoshop, UX design tools, collaboration tools ( jira, trello), Google Analytics
  • SFMC , Shopify, WordPress CMS, Horus, Browser stack, CSS, HTML
  • Knowledge of Bulk Editing, Multi-Attribution modelling, Bid Management across networks, A/B testing of adverts, Google AdWords
  • Knowledge of API's, Webhooks
  • Educated to a degree level in Digital Marketing or any related field or equivalent experience
  • understanding of ecommerce strategies in the Canadian Marketplace
