PR USA has engaged a major transformation initiative to optimize the alignment of Advertising & Promotion (A&P) operations with PR USA marketing strategy through the implementation of a consolidated marketing segmentation. Addressing the whole A&P operating model, HAPI project - "Heightened Advertising and Promotional Infrastructure" - is a cross functional initiative aiming at enhancing A&P system and ways of working to better understand, analyze and ultimately optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of A&P resources. Consolidating the foundations on how PR USA plans, spends and monitors A&P dollars is key to enable the future implementation of advanced digital solution to optimize A&P resources through analytics.
HAPI project now reaches a critical point, where securing the new A&P system's implementation through a close interface with business teams is paramount to enable reaching HAPI strategic milestones.
The HAPI Manager, Commercial Marketing is a key role that will work closely with the Transformation Team and will support some of PRUSA's most critical cross-functional project.
PR USA's future ability to optimize A&P Operations through analytics depends on the success of HAPI project. HAPI project manager will have to support and strengthen the interface of business teams with IT to secure the operability and effectiveness of the new IT solution. In the short term, 10% of the manager's time will be dedicated to support key open design arbitration informed by institutional knowledge and Pernod's digital prioritization, fostering cross-functional arbitration; 60% will be dedicated to perform the testing phase of the new solution; the last 30% will be focused on change management of both processes and tools and the training of business teams. The ability of the manager to understand both strategic intent and end-user needs will be key to effective design decisions and efficient system implementation.
The HAPI Manager, Commercial Marketing will work closely with the marketing team, especially the Marketing Enablement team in order to implement both the tool and processes within the marketing team and beyond.
This role also encompasses a close interface with PR USA's Global counterparts, as North America is the key test market for priority global initiatives (e.g., MMM, TPM system implementation).
In addition, the HAPI Manager will support Pernod in setting the foundation for future Pernod capabilities and tools such as TPM, MATRIX and other transformational projects from Pernod HQ, providing opportunities for exposure to PRUSA CODI leadership as well as global leads.
Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Project Management: Engage in cross-functional dialogue with the core business team to represent field user needs to mitigate risks, align strategic intent and ensure successful tool adoption
Support arbitration of key open design questions
Provide feedback to support the setting of business priorities
Perform Exceedra testing and provide IT with user feedback
Support the development of the training roadmap and manage/monitor change management implementation plans
Act as the system adoption sponsor within PR USA A&P business teams
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key teams: Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounts Payable and IT
Able to navigate in an agile environment and to interact with multiple stakeholders on key decisions
Able to report at VP and C-level
Able to manage interfaces in an international environment
Education: Bachelor's Degree required
Qualifications: A minimum of 4+ years relevant leadership experience in project management, ideally system implementation roles.
Dedicated experience in supporting change management processes with individual teams and company-wide initiatives.
Robust knowledge of PR USA A&P Operations and understanding of PR USA Marketing strategy
Strong experience in project management
Analytical mindset, with an ability to lean on facts to support arbitration
Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity, to foster cross-functional ways of working, as well as understanding system development challenges
Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate and build strong relationship at all levels.
