About The Position
This is your opportunity to continue putting a progressive vodka brand on the map: Our/New York. As a Sales Representative, you will be in charge of selling Our/New York to established customers and develop new prospects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  This is your opportunity to continue putting a progressive vodka brand on the map.  As the Our/New York’s Sales Representative, you will be in charge of selling Our/New York to established customers and develop new prospects within the assigned territory, which will be yours to grow, manage and maintain in partnership. Not only will you be our sales guru but you’ll collaborate on creative endeavors with local entrepreneurs and community influencers (events, campaigns, content, etc.)

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain an organized list of accounts and key accounts in the assigned territory (both on- and off-premise accounts)
  • Sell our brand to retailers and coordinate logistics to consummate the sale
  • Analyze existing sales relationships and develop strategies to increase the profitability of such relationships
  • Identify prospective customers and implement strategies to expand the distilleries customer base
  • Call on key accounts on an ongoing basis to review our brand program priorities
  • Solicit and enter orders and maintain account relationships
  • Conduct distillery tours and tastings
  • Work closely with our cross-functional team to identify new and existing market and product opportunities
  • Regularly attend select on-premise promotional events
  • Hold Off-premise tastings 
  • Direct accounts in proper and effective merchandising and consumer awareness of brands by: (i) guiding proper shelf management positions; and (ii)merchandising brands
  • Conduct staff training in on and off-premise accounts, as needed
ABOUT YOU:
  • Excellent knowledge of the New York spirits market and relationships with key accounts and decision-makers
  • Passionate about connecting with local entrepreneurs and building meaningful brands/businesses
  • Plugged into the creative conversation
  • Computer and social media savvy
  • A sense of humor and appreciate good conversation
  • Strong sense of passion and curiosity; you love learning new things and jumping into finding as much as you can about whatever is in front of you
  • Strong sales background, considered a "closer" and can provide evidence to support direct sales achievements
  • High level of professionalism 
  • Must have business acumen and keen negotiating skills
  • Confident and sociable.
WORK EXPERIENCE: 
An entrepreneurial drive and proven 1-2 years with spirits field sales experience including heavily sourcing for new leads and face to face selling
