Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits' currently seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our team, reporting to the Director, Inventory & Logistics Planning. This role offers a high degree of flexibility between working remotely and working in our Stamford, CT headquarters on an as-needed basis, so candidates must reside in a commutable location to Stamford, CT.

The Senior Logistics Analyst will be responsible for maintaining company inventory, production control and processing in-bound and out-bound products to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Additionally, this role is responsible for logistics activities and related systems information. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to inventory control, supplier collaboration, third-party warehousing, and shipping/receiving activities.

  • 5+ years of operations, transportation and warehousing experience, in positions with increasing responsibility
  • Bachelors' degree required; degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) required
  • Experience with JDE a plus
  • Proven ability to plan and organize workload and work within tight deadlines, while flourishing in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to assimilate and process data from a wide range of sources.
  • Working knowledge of distribution channels required
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
  • An analytical mind with strong math skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Experience in a 3PL environment a plus
  • CPIM or SixSigma Certification a plus

  • Transportation - Responsible for transportation contracts
    • Reviews and approves all freight bills
    • Periodically requests freight and warehousing rates to validate current fee structure
    • Maintain list of approved carriers/routes within JDE system
  • Warehousing
    • Warehousing capacity needs/visibility
    • Manage quarterly physical inventory and reconciliation of CT office stock
  • Inventory - Manage all aspects of DFWS inventory reconciliation
    • Identify discrepancies and delegate action items to appropriate stakeholders
    • Compile bailment, production, and subsidiary company inventory reconciliation data
    • Present findings in monthly Executive meeting
  • Report and distribute monthly Executive level KPI scorecards
  • Ad hoc reporting/analysis
  • C-TPAT compliance
  • EDI lead - Supplier (transportation, warehousing, production)
