We're hiring a Senior Brand Copywriter whose focus will be on brand-centric copy and messaging that supports ByHeart's brand voice, tone and storytelling across channels. We're looking for a writer with warmth and humor; someone who isn't afraid to dive in and learn about the science of infant nutrition, but can just as easily crack a witty pun.

You'll love this role if you're a storyteller at heart, but are highly skilled at creating a campaign tagline or winning headline. You feel energized by collaboration but are able to capably guide and lead verticals of copy. You subscribe to 5 million newsletters just for inspiration. You're looking to push the envelope and have fun with your writing, but ALWAYS prioritize copy that is clear and impactful to the consumer.

This position will report to our Content Director, and will work closely with many members of the commercial team, including but not limited to the Creative Director, Digital Designer, Growth Copywriter, Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, and Social Media Strategist.

Role Responsibilities

Working closely with our Content Director, this person will:
  • Act as copy lead on all brand-driven copy, working with Content Director to craft best in class work (and brainstorm concepts) tailored to succinct, powerful communication in each channel
  • Write regular newsletter flows, including weekly segmented emails and drip series
  • Drive and evolve the social voice; work with social team on concepts and captions
  • Be the owner of consistent campaign language and see that language across all brand channels
  • Work closely with our medical team to distill scientific and medical information and studies to create content and copy that ladders up to company objectives while still remaining "on brand," fun and engaging
  • Keep your finger on the pulse in terms of current trends in order to create engaging, relevant creative
  • Partner and iterate with design team to make your copy come to life

Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years copywriting, preferably for an advertising agency and/or in-house for a wellness-based CPG brand
  • Experience writing about wellness, health, nutrition, or food a major plus!
  • Experience writing for social, brand campaigns, and newsletters
  • Ability to meet deadlines with discipline, and manage time effectively
  • Strong portfolio of past work
  • A collaborative team player with a "no task too small" mindset
  • Strong organization and time management capabilities, with a meticulous attention to detail and minor obsession for grammar
  • Proven experience crafting creative from concept development through to execution, and owning the consistency of brand language across channels
  • Ability to work in close collaboration with a visual creative team
  • Prior experience working with a design and production team required
