About The Position
IDS Borjomi is a global bottled water manufacturer with 2bn bottles sold in 40 countries. Our US office is looking for a NY area-based Chain Account Manager to negotiate new points of distributions and build volume on East Coast.
The Chain Account Manager, East Coast main priority is developing business relationships with the assigned chain accounts. The CAM negotiates listings and drives execution of programs with chain accounts to achieve volume and profit goals. The CAM plays an active role in elaborating the regional sales strategy and develops influential relationships with the owners and top managers of key distribution partners in the assigned territory.
 
The CAM will be responsible for calling on all major grocery chains throughout East Coast.
 
Potential Candidate will be responsible for negotiating and activating new points of distribution, as well as the new item submissions and paperwork.
 
The Chain Account Manager, East Coast reports to CEO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
−        Manage strategic relationships with chain accounts buyers and other decision-makers,  

−        Propose and manage programs and initiatives to ensure incremental sales growth

−        Manage programs and ensure they are are successfully executed  

−        Ensure alignment with management on regional sales distribution plans, routes, new product distribution, and volume forecast

−        Evaluate market conditions using research data and analytical approach, opportunities and threats which may impact volume, share, distribution and other key business parameters

−        Evaluate and present ROI prior to recommending customized programs, POS or new items for distribution  

−        Conduct retail audits and field calls to ensure pricing, merchandising and program implementation is in line with agreements and corporate standards

−        Ensure promotions are accompanied by POS and incremental display

−        Report regularly on Monthly Business Review (MBR) and provide other reports as needed to the CEO

−        Lead and present on sales meetings and presentations

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

−        Provide training and collaborate with distributors sales force to develop and execute programs

−        Share best practices across the organization 

−        Communicate company’s standards and values

−        Professionally represent the Company at all the cooperation levels

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
The candidate must have proven relationships with buyers in non-alcoholic beverages category in the region.

 The successful candidate should have:
·        Al least 5 years of Chain Account management experience
·        Proven track record of successful chain account listing negotiations and incremental sales growth
·        Both DSD and warehouse sales management
·        Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources such as IRI and Nielsen
·        Excellent communication and active listening skills
·        Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
·        Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including being fluent in Power Point
·        Creative, solution-oriented mindset
·        Be self-motivated and able to work independently
·        Strong leadership skills to provide coaching, training and development 
·        Strong organizational and an ability to set and handle multiple priorities
·        Ability to work under pressure
·        Must have a valid Drivers' License with clean record
·        Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience equivalent
·        Fluent in English, Spanish is a Plus
 
TRAVEL:
30-40% of total time
