Position Overview
Hotaling & Co., LLC is seeking an AP/AR Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Team. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is critical to the continued growth of the organization, ensuring revenue recognition and correspondence with customers across the organization. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested and passionate about working in the accounting field for a rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will balance process and governance orientation with the aptitude to extract, manipulate, analyze and communicate data in a meaningful manner to Financial and Sr. Leadership.
Principal responsibilities
- Verify, generate and send out AR invoices to customers.
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and resolve outstanding invoices.
- Process and verify distributor billback invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Process employee expense reports during month end close.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist with other accounting and finance projects, as required.
Qualifications
- BS or BA, preferably in Accounting/Finance
- At least two years working in an Accounts Receivable role required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar mid-size software suites a plus
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; attention to details; highly organized
· Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable, payable and accounting policy
- Ability to multi-task and take accountability (i.e., knows when to ask for guidance/coaching when needed)
- Willingness and ability to grow with a fast-growing organization
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Deadline-oriented with ability to organize assignments, set priorities and carry out plans
- Prior industry experience a plus
