Connecting more than 645 million global professionals, networking platform LinkedIn just revealed its third annual ranking of top startups. The company’s editors and data scientists leveraged data from actions generated by millions of LinkedIn members to identify emerging companies that “are growing massively, scrambling industries, shifting talent flows around the world and, often, altering how we work and live.”

The data looked at four pillars in particular: employee growth; jobseeker interest; member engagement with the company and its employees; and how well these startups pulled talent from LinkedIn’s Top Companies list. To qualify, companies must be 7 years old or younger, have at least 50 employees, be privately held, and headquartered in the U.S.

Read on as we share some of the top startups across beverage, food, beauty, and cannabis that made the list.

Ranked No. 2 on the list, this cannabis-based health and wellness company is known for its proprietary cannabis dose pen. Founded in California in 2016, dosist‘s mission is “to deliver health and happiness.” The startup has hired more than 100 employees over the past year — many of whom ForceBrands has helped place.

Coming in at No. 11 on the list, Glossier is a beauty brand inspired by what girls want in real life, made by editors who get what works. They test every beauty product under the sun, interview industry icons, and are in constant conversation with Into The Gloss readers, their customers, and community. Glossier generated $100 million in sales in 2018 and is valued at $1.2 billion. The company is actively hiring and candidates without beauty experience are encouraged to apply.

At No. 24 on the list, Ritual is a women-first, subscription-based vitamin company that recently raised $25 million in Series B funding. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Culver City, Calif., they are actively growing their team of about 70 employees.
