Job Description: As a Brand Specialist for Wilde Irish Gin, you will be the face of the brand in the MD territory. You will be responsible for building relationships with key accounts, managing on-premise and off-premise activations, and increasing brand awareness through events and social media. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with people in the spirits industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Wilde Irish Gin in the MD territory
- Develop and maintain relationships with on-premise (bars, restaurants) and off-premise (retailers, liquor stores) accounts
- Organize and lead brand activations, events, tastings, and promotions
- Educate trade professionals and consumers on Wilde Irish Gin’s unique qualities
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless execution of brand initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, reporting back to the brand team
- Increase brand visibility through social media engagement and partnerships
- Provide regular updates and reports on market activities and brand performance
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hospitality, sales, as a brand ambassador, or in a related role, ideally within the spirits or beverage industry
- Strong knowledge of premium spirits, with a particular interest in gin or similar products
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively
- An outgoing personality and the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strong network within the spirits or hospitality industry in Maryland
