What You Need To Know


The Branch Payroll Coordinator prepares and compiles payroll data for submission to the General Office Payroll Department for employees to receive payment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Audit and review commissions, bonuses, time records, and other relevant payroll documents to ensure integrity and accuracy
  • Compile and review payroll data such as hours worked, commissions, bonuses, vacations, and sick pay from the time clock and other records; address discrepancies and update data as needed
  • Ensure backup documentation is made available for corrections, as needed
  • Complete payroll summary reports for the Branch and forward results to the General Office Payroll Department
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • 1-year Payroll experience
  • Math skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Intermediate Excel skills

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
