Beechwood Sales & Service, a beverage distributor located in New Berlin, WI has an excellent full-time opportunity. We are seeking a Spirits and Wine Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the development of the Company's Spirits and Wine business throughout the state of Wisconsin. We are looking for a leader with significant experience in the beverage industry and extensive Spirits and Wine knowledge. The ideal candidate will capable of developing and implementing sales initiatives, training and development of the Beechwood sales team, and recruiting new brands to build our growing portfolio.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective customer relations and promote the goodwill of the company
  • Ensure Spirits and Wine sales performance achieves volume, gross profit, and revenue objectives
  • Manage Spirits and Wine portfolio, including product selections (additions and deletions), pricing, and profit margins
  • Educate and inform Sales staff on all aspects of the Spirits and Wine portfolio
  • Manage supplier relations as they relate to the Spirits and Wine portfolio
  • Recruit and evaluate new Spirits and Wine suppliers and products to add to the Beechwood brand portfolio
  • Identify sales opportunities and facilitate product placements in key accounts
  • Develop new accounts and new placements for Spirits and Wine
  • Assist in forecasting sales and ordering products
  • Prepare monthly sales objectives and plan of action related to business activities
  • Maintain awareness of industry and respond to new developments
  • Work directly with sales staff to assist in the successful sale and placement of all Spirits and Wine products
  • Conduct monthly control and review sessions with management
  • Execute monthly goals related to business activities as assigned by management
  • Implement and execute the marketing strategies of the company
  • Coordinate communication between departments and within department
  • Special projects as assigned

Essential Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • 5 + years of direct experience in the beverage industry, specifically Spirits and Wine
  • Knowledge of legal requirements regarding the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages
  • Excellent managerial, communication, and leadership capabilities
  • Strong decision making ability
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
