Job Description/Responsibilities

As the Production Planner / Scheduler, one is responsible for but not limited to, the following:
  • Lead the production planning process for the bottling operations at BBM using Master Production Scheduling module.
  • Provide world class customer service by ensuring all BBM customer orders are accurate and finished goods are available for customer requested ship dates.
  • Participate in and lead process improvements that deliver cost savings in the imported goods, production planning and materials planning areas.
  • Ensure that the appropriate amount of inventory is held to meet customer service goals while minimizing carrying costs and improving production efficiencies.
  • Work with Brand Managers on production plans or planned purchases for new products and brands.
  • Provide a stable production schedule that optimizes line efficiency with inventory carrying costs.


Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills: Must
  • Experience in manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS)
  • 5 - 10 years relevant experience
  • Experience in Food and Beverage Industry
  • Supervisory experience
  • Supply Chain experience
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Successful implementation of an integrated planning/forecasting system
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry
