Job Description/Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting and/or managing assigned categories/brands. Develops and executes strategies, activation plans/budgets and NBD initiatives. Collaborates cross functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing teams, Business Intelligence, DCOE, Operations, Finance, Compliance, agencies and trade partners to achieve business and strategic objectives. Develops direct reports where applicable.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilize PDS system and available resources to identify areas for continuous self-improvement. Regularly dedicate time to growing the skills outlined in the Development Plan. For direct reports, conduct optimal performance discussions, articulate consistent skill evaluations, recommend actions and tactics, and measure progress.
  • Prioritize the execution of initiatives on assigned categories/brands. For managed brands/projects, develop marketing activation plans, budgets, standards, channel & pricing strategy and ensure plan is executed to reach sales and profit objectives. Identify and see through to completion areas to save money, improve efficiency and add value to the company.
  • Identify processes for position outcomes and priorities. Identify cross functional support to be involved in projects and processes.
  • Work cross functionally to build assigned categories/brands into a viable and profitable global consumer business consistent with the company's overall strategy and goals. Support the development of strategies to achieve consumer objectives and solve customer problems.
  • Prioritize time & resources on assigned categories/brands & brand/country/state objectives most critical to achieving volume, profit and KPI targets. Use Cognos, VIP, BI tools and other resources to measure and analyze progress against BCSPs.
  • Lead and/or support the management of agency efforts in delivering effective & efficient creative solutions, packaging, marketing materials, promotion, public relations and media for all support and assigned category/brand NBD, projects and programs.
  • For assigned categories/brands, support company protocol to concept, plan, develop, launch and successfully execute NBD opportunities that drive growth. Navigate NBD projects through internal cross-functional teams and processes leading to on-time & on budget delivery.
  • Establish well organized priorities for yourself. Ensure project team members understand their roles, updates are posted, and priorities are successfully completed. Monitor progress and use PPT system to inform against priorities.
  • For assigned categories/brands, support the development of strategic brand planning work, new initiative plans and special projects.


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work crossfunctionally within the organization
