Our vision is to build the #1 digital commerce ecosystem within beverage alcohol. Our dual mission is to drive significant revenue growth as well as embed sustainable digital-first capabilities into the broader Pernod Ricard USA (PRUSA) ecosystem.

No industry is as ripe for disruption as BevAlc in the US, given prohibition era laws that differentiate us from broader food and beverage or luxury. BevAlc digital commerce transformation projected to take 5+ years has now occurred in the span of weeks, with no signs of slowing down. To win in this new environment, Pernod Ricard USA (PRUSA) has formed a new, dedicated eCommerce & Digital Growth business unit. We are primarily based in NYC, with a hub in SF. Open to other locations.

We are a team where a start-up's appetite for innovation, risk-taking, and speed meets the stability, infrastructure, and resources of a scale multi-national organization. This growing team is made up of members spanning commercial, performance marketing, creative/content, product, data science, operations, finance, and biz ops. We hail from eCommerce, start-up/tech, CPG, agency, and management consulting.

What You'll Do

We seek a result-driven and collaborative team player to grow PRUSA's eCommerce business for a portfolio of priority independent retailer s in your markets . You r mission is to help your customers get online and scale their .com business , taking an omni-channel lens . I ntimately understanding your market s' and customers' eCommerce dynamics will be essential to your success . Y ou will play a critical role in scaling PRUSA's eCommerce strateg y by tailoring deployment to the realities of your markets and customers .

You will be a key member of the eComm erce BU, sitting on the Commercial T eam , and will be wired into PRUSA's revamped Field Marketing organization . This role reports into the Sr. Manager of Regional eComm & Pure Play and is aligned to the Field Marketing Director for your markets . Can be located anywhere, preference for NYC or aligned to your key markets : CA, American Division (17-state division, including WI , WA, IL, NV, CO, AZ) .

The Role

Shape Strategy: ~1 0 %

  • Customer Prioritization - Understand landscape of independent retailers in your markets and support prioritiz ation based on growth potential and maturity.
  • Performance & Category Management - Acquire and analyze eCommerce performance data, where available, to optimize assortment, promos and programming.
  • Growth Playbook - Shape PRUSA's playbook of resources and tools for growing eCommerce for independent retailers. Localize to the needs of your customer where needed.

  • Lead Playbook Deployment & Execution: ~70%

  • Digital Shelf Hygiene - Maintain a flawless digital shelf for set of priority customers. Work with customers, distributor partners and PRUSA teams to ensure customers have content that is up to date and optimized.
  • Programming & Content - Deploy and distribute programming to priority customers on a set cadence and drive adoption.
  • Digital Solutions Recruitment & On-boarding - Partner with the eComm Product Team to customize scalable digital tools that will maximize PRUSA's eCommerce presence & drive account recruitment & on-boarding in your markets.
  • Product Sell-In & OOS Management - Take an eComm -first lens to provide regular data-driven, fact-based, recommendations for sell-in and/or OOS opportunities to relevant Operations, RD, and/or distributor partners.

  • Drive Thought Leadership & Upskilling: ~ 20 %

  • External - Serve as a visible and credible thought leader to the customers in your market. Activities could include: Organizing workshops & trainings; introducing PRUSA-sponsored digital tools & solutions.
  • Internal - Elevate digital commerce knowledge in your division with field sales and distributor teams. Activities could include: Organizing workings & trainings; sharing broader industry & competitor trends and insights.

  • Strong relationship manager with experience managing external commercial partners.

  • About You

  • 5 -8 + years' experience in a commercial or commercial oper ations role
  • 3+ years in d igital commerce

  • CPG or r etail req uired , F&B strongly preferred
  • Digital media agency experience considered a plus
