Position Summary

Reporting to T he Mix US Lead , Marketing Enablement, the Creative Services Manager (CSM) r ole will drive the launch , implementation and execution of The Mix US, PR USA's first in-house content factory. The Mix US will accelerate conversion and growth across our brands and business through advanced production and creative content capabilities . The work will span asset variation and dynamic content optimization , asset adaptation to be fit for use across various platforms and asset creation with end-to-end production for niche brand or channel needs . This is an exciting transformation journey as this role is pivotal to the success of The Mix, which will be defined by the effectiveness of our content, the satisfaction of our stakeholders and the cost implications seen.

Nature & Scope

The Mix US is under the remit of PR USA's Marketing Enablement team, which is a Center of Excellence responsible for driving effectiveness and superior capabilities across critical marketing activities such as Media, Content Production & Orchestration, and Operational Excellence. In this role, the Creative Services Manager will work across the organization to manage the creative process by translating brand vision to design to execution across the Brand Marketing, Commercial, Field Marketing and cross-functional teams.

The CSM will be responsible for liaising with teams to ensure marketing programming expectations and contractual obligations are met. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dynamic Content Optimization (DCO), e-commerce and social creative development, and will help implement best practices across Brand Teams, Agency Partners, Retail Customers, etc. The CSM will have a knack for simplifying and communicating production language and will be responsible for owning creative processes and workflows, project and queue prioritization, briefings, and end-to-end creative project management.

This candidate should be looking to drive impact and change while being sensitive to the power of change management and strategic influence. The CSM will directly impact how we maximize speed to market, right-size costs, power personalization at scale across the consumer journey and ultimately accelerate conversion and growth across our portfolio.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

The Mix Operations and Management : Partner with The Mix lead to drive the implementation, optimization and management of creative services for The Mix

  • Responsible for having an in-depth knowledge of The Mix scope during each phase of Launch , and managing all internal stakeholders and external partners as it relates to scope, timelines, budgets, etc.
  • Define governance and WoW across the broader organization
  • Develop and optimize workflows, processes, standards and timelines for creative assets
  • Implement and ensure adherence to updated naming conventions, taxonomy and tagging standards to organize creative assets to meet internal and external customer needs
  • Develop training process and templates for all Marketing teams
  • Work-cross functionally with all relevant brand / partner stakeholders to ensure embedding of The Mix , always thinking about ways for refinement
  • Ensure consistency across the creative process for all Marketing teams

  • The Mix Creative Services Liaison: L ead point-of-contact for Marketing teams (Brand, Commercial, Field, etc.) as it relates to the production of creative assets , including asset variation, asset adaptation and asset creation.

  • Serve as the intermediary between The Mix and internal / external teams for all creative needs that are within scope.
  • Asset Variation: Partner with internal stakeholders to launch and oversee DCO Pilots across the portfolio. Manage the reworking of simple assets into different formats. Liaise with Content Manager to ensure understanding of the DAM and DAM governance.
  • Asset Adaptation: Powered by an in-house team and embedded resources , this candidate will be responsible for the adaptation of existing assets to be fit for use based on direction from Brand, Commercial and Field Marketing teams.
  • Asset Creation: Lead end-to-end production for nic h e brand or channel needs to optimize media-to-shelf.

  • Project / Account Management: Serve as the Account Manager / Project Lead for all Creative Services assigned to The Mix

  • Direct projects from concept to execution
  • Manage creative projects and assess bandwidth when requests are submitted
  • Monitor, support and maintain the creative resourcing calendar across all teams. Oversee creative resourc ing and assign relevant resource to each request in a timely manner based on brief and request
  • Champion and optimize proprietary workflow too l - s hift the workflow, resourcing, and timelines through centralized database and e nsure data is captured that is required to analyze business and meet client's brand and procurement reporting requirements from the onset of a project
  • Problem solves , offer solutions & guarantee s creative materials are delivered timely and efficiently. Partner closely with marketing program manager to identify risks, potential issues, approval dates and key milestones.

  • Integration of Technology: Maintain oversight of technologies and necessary integrations across the ecosystem at PR USA and in partnership with Oliver.

  • Integrate internal PR USA systems with Oliver's OMG system
  • Partner with Content Manger to ensure clear process for saving and sharing of creative assets across different systems

  • Job Requirements

  • The role requires a motivated self-starter with strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm.
  • Strong ability to embed new processes, manage obstacles and serve as a change agent.

  • Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

  • Experience / Background

  • 6-8 + years of experience working in a creative services department at an advertising agency or in-house creative services team.
  • Experience working with Marketing or Media teams, with cross-functional experience at an agency, brand side, or ideally both.
  • The ideal candidate will have significant experience overseeing multiple programs at once ( from strategy to execution ) , is exceptionally well-organized, process-driven, and has a clear understanding of how to generate buy-in of new ideas and ways of working.
  • Extensive experience working with a creative or production agency specializing in social, website / e-commerce and digital content.
  • Highly effective in managing onsite and offshore teams as needed, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical staff to ensure timely delivery of the project.
  • Hands-on experience with creative marketing development and execution across a variety of tactics ( i.e. retail, media, social, etc.) .
  • This candidate should be goal oriented, solutions oriented, able to drive an action plan while being agile and able to adjust to new information and new direction.
