Job Description:
The Market Manager will be part of a dedicated and passionate team, focused on sales, brand management and program management as it pertains to sales execution. This individual will be responsible for delivering the execution of the Regional plan by achieving the accounts sold and volume goals and profit targets while managing and executing street level sales and marketing programs in conjunction with the distributors. This person will work closely with our distributor partners MS Walker, United Martignetti and Rhode Island Distributing. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • 60% focus on Account Management - 25% focus on Brand Management - 15% focus on Team Engagement 
Account Management (60%):
  • Proper wholesaler engagement including programming, sales, merchandising, brand education and market work-withs
  • Attend distributor meetings focused on program introduction and route to market plans, focus on levels of distribution, market share and sales alignment 
  • Report on a weekly and monthly basis on the (new) accounts visited, achievements and expenses
  • Review monthly performance with field level distributor management (Team Meetings) 
  • Monitor inventory and proper use of P.O.S. material
Brand Management (25%) across the region 
  • Build, maintain and enhance an on and off premise key account list in conjunction with the distributor and develop strong relationships with key buyers/owners and managers for the LBUSA brand portfolio
  • Manage assigned accounts in attaining sales, marketing, and profit objectives
  • Manage own quantitative and qualitative data
  • Identify market trends and create opportunities
Team Engagement (15%):
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to deliver the common objectives of the organization utilizing KPI drivers
  • Foster the LBUSA Culture to promote teamwork, collaboration and winning attitude 
  • Share input and communicate learnings with Marketing Team to create effective programming 
Requirements:
  • Industry professional with high end bar, restaurant and cocktail knowledge within one or more of these markets
  • Field marketing professionals, brand ambassadors, demo/tasting staff encouraged to apply
  • A commercial sales talent with the ability to see opportunities and execute them 
  • Extensive knowledge of the distributor(s) 
  • Strong current relationships with key accounts and key buyers within one or more of these markets
  • Ability to manage financial budgets with full responsibility over these markets
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Travel required approximately 35% 
  • Must have valid driver's license
