Love + Chew Brands was founded by yogi & former tech employee Lauren Chew in 2019 after she transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle. We bake clean label, plant-based protein cookies available in 7 flavors.  Our goal is to make plant-based foods accessible, tasty and sustainable. A portion of our proceeds go to support local organizations such as Oasis for Girls in San Francisco. Our film packaging uses 20% post consumer recycled plastic (PCR).  Our company is WBENC-Certified and AAPI owned.
 
Position Description
 
Our customers, no matter how large or small, are an important part of our business. Love + Chew Brands is looking to hire an Sales Manager with CPG experience (preferred, but not required) to join our small team.  The ideal candidate is an organized, hungry and an experienced multi-tasker, who is willing to step in and help out wherever needed.  This position will report to the CEO.

 
Position Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop key account list and set yearly goals and targets for distribution and volume tailored to accounts under the direction of the CEO.
  • Pursue and close accounts in the following categories: hotels, casinos, coffee shops, offices, foodservice partnerships, micromarkets, vending, fitness studios, airlines, non-grocery retail, gift boxes, etc.
  • Manage distributor relationship (Vistar) and broker team
  • Develop, post, and maintain weekly work schedule, listing daily locations and planned activities, updating daily and/or weekly as needed.
  • Target 10+ account calls per day, including progress reports and/or updates.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively to grow business, identify new opportunities, make new placements, and track key initiatives.
  • Ensure POS (Point of Sale Materials) and other Marketing assets are utilized in the field. 
  • Prepare, develop, and implement creative brand programs to activate the consumer, including product sampling and demos.
  • Provide diligent follow up.
  • Produce timely sales activity and expense reports.
  • Assess market needs, report to CEO.
  • Manage and track KPI’s, and work towards quarterly quota.
  • Various administrative tasks such as onboarding paperwork & managing promotions calendar.
  • Work trade show booths alongside CEO, and travel for customer meetings, 30% travel required.
 

Experience Requirements

· Fully remote position

·1-3 years+ experience sales experience preferred
· Be able to work in a task -based environment with the ability to take direction, but also comfortable spearheading initiatives and performing out of self-motivation
· Strong analytical skills
· Tech Savvy with experience in Excel, Slack & Asana 
· Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple and ever-changing priorities
· Detail oriented with exceptional oral and written communication skills
· Comfortable working remotely part-time
