For three generations the Cooper family has been crafting a full range of spirits, cordials, and ready-to-drink cocktails from the heart of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Charles Jacquins et Cie., Inc., the oldest Cordial Producer in America and the largest in PA is expanding its product offering and reach throughout Pennsylvania. We are looking for energetic, self-confident, experienced salespeople to become a part of our Sales Team. Candidate must live in North Carolina for consideration.

Overview:
As the New York Market Manager at Charles Jacquin et Cie., Inc., you will hold a pivotal role in steering the success and accountability of our Sales organization in New York State. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales, East, you will lead the charge in sculpting the trajectory of Jacquin's brands and business in the New York Market. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and on-premise accounts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local market, a passion for the beverage industry, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Sales Strategy: 
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the New York market. 
Distributor/Account Management: 
  • Manage relationships with key accounts, including distributors, and on/off-premise accounts, ensuring optimal brand representation and customer satisfaction.
  • Review daily, weekly and monthly depletion and inventory data to ensure product is moving. 
  • Cultivate robust collaborations with distributors and accounts, steering collaborative planning and unwavering commitment. 
  • Negotiate outcomes that are mutually advantageous and promote category expansion, solidifying mutually beneficial affiliations. 
Market Analysis: 
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities, monitor competition, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Possess an in-depth comprehension of the alcohol beverage sector, inclusive of the 3-tier system and product supply chain. 
 Brand Promotion: 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events, tastings, and brand activations in the market.
Sales Reporting:
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
Driving Results and Strategy: 
  • Prioritize and define goals to optimize business growth strategy.  
  • Create a process to guide and drive and scorecard. 
  • Create a process of accountability. 
  • Exhibit relentless determination and entrepreneurial vigor in realizing objectives and driving transformative initiatives.  
Qualifications: 
  • 4+ years of sales experience in the beverage or spirits industry, with a strong focus on the New York market.
  • Accomplished in distributor management. 
  • Demonstrated success in steering in-market triumph for novel products grounded in customer and data-derived insights. 
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. 
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Profound comprehension of the alcohol beverage sector, encompassing the 3-tier system and product supply chain.
