The Senior Manager, Data & Analytics is a role whose primary focus is to drive utilization and adoption of analytic approaches to help advise critical business decisions including pricing, marketing investment and forecasting. This role is responsible for understanding key market dynamics and business context to shape an analytics learning agenda, lead the projects, and embed the learning into the organization to drive action. As a key strategic partner to the Commercial, Operations and Brand teams, this role supports MHUSA's continued commitment to building analytic capabilities and leveraging sophisticated analytics in business decision making

Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC OfficeJob responsibilities

  • Work closely with Commercial, Brand, and Operations teams to build a learning agenda and analytics roadmap to augment decision making.
  • Own selection and management of vendors who deliver analytic models including, but not limited to: Pricing Elasticity Models, Market Mix Models,. Ensure business questions are well developed and project delivers against these in time-frame that aligns to Business operating model
  • Conduct hands-on analysis to address specific business questions and challenges, or proactively seek opportunities
  • Help embed data-driven decision making in the organization by:
  • Bringing insightful analysis that reframe perspectives and unlock opportunities
  • Developing impactful stories based on data & analytics to inspire action in the business
  • Collaborate with Data Governance & Data Product Management team to ensure US data hub is developed to enable predictive analytics roadmap
  • Work closely with Local IT, Global Insights & Analytics, and Global Data & AI teams to ensure US business priorities are integrated into global roadmaps, and that global projects are fit-for-purpose for the US
Profile

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 7 +years of experience data and analytics
  • Top-tier analytic skills and curiosity
  • Experience working across multiple data sets to derive insights & translate these to business partners to inspire action
  • Expertise in building or in-dept understanding of pricing and/or marketing effectiveness models to drive business decision making
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and adaptability
  • Strong written & verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities
  • A high level of ethics, integrity, respect for others, and confidentiality
