JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager  

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Regional Sales Manager can be a true ambassador for our brand and represent us to our customers, consumers, brokers, and distributor partners. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead, expand, and develop all retail business including customers in the Natural, Conventional, Specialty, Mass, and Club Channels nationally. The RSM will work closely with our broker partners to manage assigned key customers and distributors. The RSM will be responsible for developing and executing annual sales plans, pioneering new customers, supporting broker relationships, and partnering with the executive leadership to continue refining our retail strategy. The RSM must have broker experience and be familiar with the national retail landscape, primarily the Conventional Channel.

●       Partner with the executive leadership team to build out, implement, and drive our retail sales strategy across the New York Metro Area
●       Build strong and credible relationships with major headquarter accounts, distributors, and brokers
●       Leverage broker relationships to build and execute annual plans with select retailers within the Natural, Conventional, and Specialty/Gourmet Channels
●       Assist with promotion planning and forecasting
●       Evaluate short-term and long-term goals to ensure sales resources are utilized to deliver against the overall company strategy

•        5 years minimum of sales and sales management experience in the CPG industry
•        Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•        Broker and UNFI experience required
•        Clear and concise verbal and written skills
•        General understanding of the national retail landscape
•        Motivated, enthusiastic and positive
•        Must be a self-starter, have initiative
•        Good relationship builder with external broker partners, buyers, and distributors
•        Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
•        Must be willing to travel an estimated 30% to 40% of the time as the business demands
•        Problem solving skills and desire to bring solutions to challenging business problems
•        Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), Internet Browsers and Web based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
