We’re Endless West, makers of molecular spirits. Our small, independent team of scientists, sommeliers, writers, chefs, and grad school dropouts is creating the next generation of wine and spirits. Glyph, our first commercial product, is modeled after barrel-aged whiskey but made overnight using our innovative technology.

Our work has already attracted significant interest from a range of people — whiskey enthusiasts, scientists, members of the culinary world, creatives in design, technology, and fashion, traditional distillers and distributors — around the world. About the Role
This Director of Strategic Sales (DSS) which is a newly created role within Endless West will be focused exclusively on building out our bulk products and concentrate sales verticals within our rapidly growing Business to Business (B2B) division. The DSS will be tasked with establishing, filling and maintaining our sales pipeline within their vertical so as to develop and diversify our revenue stream by selling our expanding portfolio of bulk spirits and concentrates to domestic-based distilleries, brand owners (suppliers), co-packers, and aggregators. 

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and working in concert with the National Sales Director and Trade Marketing Manager, the DSS will play a central role in transforming our business by helping us to unlock the full capabilities of our eight years of applied technology as we deliver on our mission to boldly create what no one has created before. This role will set the strategy, hunt down new business opportunities, close the deals and then pass the accounts over to our account management team, although you’ll still want to service your relationships. It is fully expected that this role will also establish a team to further hunt down and close new business opportunities once the DSS has effectively established, executed and learned from the strategy. 

Who We’re Looking for/About You
Success in this role will be immediately driven by the DSS's established network of spirits suppliers, co-packers and aggregators to gain some early wins but will be prolonged on the person’s tenacity, ability to self-start and “always be closing” mentality. Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are a must as is an innate ability to connect the dots in a still largely white spaced vertical.


  • Keep the pipeline full
  • Work with Commercial Performance team to research and pursue potential leads and see them through to a successful agreement
  • Be the expert in your vertical (Bulk and Concentrate) with a deep understanding of the market and our value proposition 
  • Writing business proposals and navigating a varied and sometimes unstructured RFP process
  • Navigating and leading negotiations with key stakeholders
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customers needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics/Finance or Marketing 
  • 10+years in the Wine & Spirits Industry with recent and relevant experience on the commercial supply side of the industry
