CHEERS! Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits currently seeks a Supply Chain Specialist, Blue Division to join our Supply Chain team. This role offers a high degree of flexibility between working remotely and working in our Stamford, CT headquarters on an as-needed basis, so candidates must live in a commutable distance from Stamford, CT.

The Supply Chain Specialist - Blue Division will oversee all aspects of Blue inventory and order processing with our partner, Total Wine & More, in order to maximize efficiency between companies. This Specialist will represent the company in a positive and efficient manner, while working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and accomplish Supply Chain departmental/individual objectives by measuring metrics; evaluating and improving methods; making and implementing required changes.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or training in service industry specializing in meeting customer demands and organizing multiple tasks; or recent high performing college graduate with high learning agility
  • Excellent verbal and written skills for communication with partner, peers, and managers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills a plus)
  • Detail Oriented
  • Ability to exercise judgment & recommend solutions
  • Ability to research & interpret information
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Ability to plan and organize heavy workload and work within tight deadlines

  • Communicating regularly and professionally with Total Wine & More
  • Researching and answering questions related to inventory, order processing, logistic charges, etc.
  • Accurately receiving purchase orders in ERP system (JDE)
  • Processing Orders for sales, purchases, gift baskets and credits manually
  • Generate required reports and send per schedule
  • Perform all aspects of Blue inventory reconciliation
  • Review all warehouse inventory adjustments and ensure sync with JDE
  • Identifying and communicating issues with team
  • Following up to ensure timely resolution, especially during month-end close
  • Identify and pre-empt issues in order to resolve at the time of entering
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with key members of other departments
  • Managing Inventory Reconciliation and identifying discrepancy root cause for TWM branch plant
  • Transfer Orders/ Purchase orders for TWM bailment markets
  • Bailment purchase order entry/management & consumption processing
